Calcium Hydroxide

Calcium Hydroxide, also known as Hydrated Lime, is a neutralizing and pH-adjusting chemical used in powder coating operations to treat wastewater that contains acidic chemicals from degreasing, derusting, phosphating, and other pre-treatment processes.

It raises the pH of wastewater, causing dissolved metals and impurities to solidify (precipitate) so they can be filtered and removed safely.
